Newest Photo Challenge Day 64

This picture was the first trip Alex took me after I made the move to WA. This was in a little town called Leavenworth WA which is a little German town about 4 hours from Everett. They were having a little Beer Fest that weekend and we were like cool because we can have a little bit of fun trying new beers but unfortunately they closed it early, so there went that idea. As you can tell, Alex isn't used to German Beers and he was feeling it even though he just had half of one when I took this picture. I love you baby.

This was at the karaoke place that we would go to on a regular basis in WA. If you weren't sure where to find us then all you would have to do is go Hunan Palace in Everett WA. We had lots of memories made there and I don't know if we will ever make another trip back there, but if we do then we are going to make it a point to go.

As Kristy said in her comment this is Roy. This is another friend I made that night with the meeting of Kristy and Danny. I don't know what happened to him, but you know what I am sure he is doing well. If we are meant to keep in touch, then our paths will cross again soon in the future.

This was the night that I met Danny who is Alex's best friend for the first time. They have been through so much together and honestly I know things have changed since this picture was taken I wouldn't have it any other way buddy. This was my Filet Mignon that I had for dinner that night. It was absolutely delicious and well worth the month and time it took to cook. Yes it was cooked to order because I have cooked this before myself and it took quite a bit of time for me to get my food. The ambiance and the awesome company I had that night made up for it though.

I know you are probably wondering why did I take a picture of his dinner that night. Alex was actually really impressed by the Pork Chops that he had that night. In fact, there are two things on this plate that he has never tried before that he really liked. They are lentils and asparagus. I keep on forgetting to make both of these for him, so maybe I will make them for him when he gets back. What a great night for some awesome memories.

This was taken the night we celebrated Valentine's Day at dinner. I have mixed feelings about this picture, but Alex likes it so I thought I would post it. We never did make it back there for dinner before we moved, but with my knew opinion on life, you never know what life will bring you. We have so much available to us out there, you just have to know when and where to look.

This is an awesome picture of my best friend and soul mate Alex that night. Yes, he might not be the most perfect guy that any one could fall in love with, but you know what he is my knight and shinning armor. I know I might say otherwise on some days, but you know that is life. I am not any where perfect and he knows that, so I don't expect anything better than what he can give me. I am hoping we can have more of these kind of dates in the future because it was very memorable.

This was a very special night for me. Over the years I have heard about the restaurant up at the top of the Space Needle in Seattle WA. This was the belated Valentine's Day Dinner that he took me to that year. I was amazed of how he wanted to take me there and didn't argue with me. I didn't get a chance to take many pictures because the view we had that night was absolutely gorgeous. If you ever get a chance to spend a meal up there, then I have one thing to say. It is very worth your money and make sure you spend ti with your someone special.

I am really not sure where this picture was taken. All I can remember is that it was taken on the road trip that Alex and I took on the way back to WA. Alex is not too fond of flying and I have gotten to let him deal with it his way, so when he came down to visit me when he was proposing he drove his Honda down. I have to admit when we have been on the multiple road trips we have seen some really pretty sights. I will never take any of them back accept for when we were arguing over stupid stuff. Heck if we didn't do them, then I would have never been able to share this picture with you.

These are the two guys I was talking about in the previous picture. I don't know Tyler very well and I really wish I could get to know him well. He is my cousin Ray's son and my cousin Ray passed away a couple of years before Alex and I got back together. I know there is so much that I could say about these two, but you know they know what they mean to me that I really don't have to say it to them. Love you guys and you know how to get a hold of me if you need me to.

This picture was taken of us at a place called Lazy Dog Cafe in Huntington Beach. We were lucky enough to be able to take a trip down there during his visit to CA when we got engaged. We were having lunch with Michael and Tyler my two awesome cousins that I wish we could spend more time together. I haven't seen this picture of the two of us in a very long time and remember this being taken like it was yesterday. I miss parts of CA, but not all of them because of the BS that comes with living there. Hopefully one of these days we will be making a trip back there really soon to visit. We just have to figure out when we can make it happen.

Wow, so much happened that weekend which happened to be Xmas. First I got engaged and then I saw my cousin Stephanie for the first time in so long. This picture was taken right after we had dinner at the restaurant where Alejandro proposed to me that night. I knew that it was going to happen that day because he gave me the ring to carry in my purse and we were checking on it every chance we got that day, but when the time came I couldn't help it. I was so nervous and wanted it to happen already he didn't even get a word out that he wanted to say before I could say yes and just put it on my finger already. I was so happy that day and couldn't help smiling for the rest of the time we were together that Xmas time.

There are actually 3 people in this picture. You can barely see the arm of Bradley in this picture. I believe we were in the very long line for It's A Small World in this picture. For some reason, we always torture ourselves and go on this thing even though while waiting in line for the ride you can learn the song in it's entirety. We love you guys.

I love this picture of these two wonderful people in my life. Yes they are wearing each others glasses and I love their sense of humor. Bryan, you had my heart the day I met you in Michigan for our cousin Courtenay's wedding. I will never forget that day and I love you so very much. We made so many memories that weekend and to share one very special moment with you and Cyndy made the wait that much better. Love you guys both.

P.S. I forgot to mention the fact that this was Bryan's first trip to Disneyland in the states. I will never forget the story of your dad at Euro-Disney. What a great time. Bryan, are we there yet?

This is one of my favorite pictures of my big sister Cyndy and I. We might fight like cats and dogs now and when we were growing up, but you know she is always there for me no matter what. I love you sis and I will always remember the day I got engaged to Alejandro Orne because you were there to share the day with me. Love you big sis. One thing that I was able to keep away from every one for a long period of time was the fact that she was going to be getting engaged the same weekend I was going to be engaged. I can't think of a better Xmas gift for our parents.

This was the day that Alex and I went to Disneyland for the first time together since the day we met in 1993. The little boy in this picture would be Bradley. This was his first trip to Disneyland. I can't believe how fast time flies since we have been together. Bradley could be carried easily at this age and is now way too big for me to carry him for a long period of time.

Yes he does look very cold in this picture and he was so cold outside when standing out there. I wanted a picture of him standing in it while it was snowing and he wasn't too thrilled about it at first. I did allow him to have a cigarette since he was being such a good sport about it.

This is what we woke up to the day after Alex took me up to the Ski Resort 3 hours away. Yes that is his Honda being covered by snow. We didn't get as much snow as we saw up in the mountains, but it did put a nice blanket on the car and on the ground.

There were a couple of things that I absolutely can't forget about that particular weekend. One of them being that it was the first time Alex lit a fire for us in the fireplace. The most important part was the fact that I got to be able to spend the weekend with him. I got to see some really pretty parts of WA that weekend and wish we could go back there, but it doesn't look like that is going to be possible.

Now my turn to lean on his baby. I love the fact that regardless of me thinking that he loved this car more than me. I know that is not the case now. This was taken almost 4 years ago and he tells me he would rather have me than the car to spend the rest of his life with by his side.

This was taken right before we were to finally take the chains off his Honda Accord. I know he missed his baby so much and I know there will be one day he will be able to get it again. It will be a lot better when we do get it and we will make sure that no one will ever be able to steal it again.

It just serves him right for almost dropping that snowball on top of my head. After we got the picture before this one taken, we went to leave and almost got stuck in the snow embankment. We weren't so lucky at this time to have our SUV that we have now, so if we did get stuck, then we would have had lots of fun trying to get out of this mess.

The guy that was taking this picture was giving me a rash of you know what that I am a Steelers fan and I also didn't realize what Alex was doing until after I started feeling the snow melting on top of my head. Lots of fun and that is why I love him so much.

I got him to stop on the side of the road so we can get a picture of us together in the snow. We didn't know any one, so we were able to get a really nice person who was riding snow mobiles in the snow.

This is one of the ski runs at the Mt. Baker Ski Resort. I don't quite know which one this was, but you know you wouldn't catch me dead on any of the runs they had at the resort. Alex was a good sport and was happy to enjoy the view with me for a little bit before we turned around and went back home. Okay I don't like the snow for the most part. It is really pretty, but it hurts like you know what when you fall on packed snow.

Okay this was taken right after I fell in a hole that I didn't see on the mountain. Alex was kind of mad because we drove for 3 hours in this weather and all I wanted to do after we got there was go back to his place. I fell quite a bit of times just trying to walk on the snow let alone even try skiing which was what he wanted to do.

This was taken when we finally got up to the Ski Resort on Mt Baker in Everett, WA. Alex was having to help me walk on the snow because unless you have done it before it isn't as easy as it looks.

As you can tell I am now in the same location he was in the previous picture. It wasn't too cold where we were for a couple of reasons. One we were bundled up as you can tell and two I had him to keep me warm. I think ironically enough, that weekend I found my Steelers jacket of all places considering I was in WA and the Seahawks from WA lost to them that year in the Super Bowl. I was one happy fan that weekend and got it for an awesome price.

This is on my favorite pictures of Alex that Thanksgiving weekend. A lot of people ask me where this was and I tell them up in Steven's Pass in the state of WA. I was always bothering him to take me to see snow and since they already had some snow up there he took me.

This is was me on the ferry that weekend of Thanksgiving when I went up to spend time with him. We are both not really into turkey and still aren't, so we celebrated Thanksgiving our way. Nothing special to make, but lots of fun spending time together.

This was taken on the ferry out of Bremmerton, WA over the Thanksgiving weekend on 2006. Alex had to work that day so I flew up the night of that day and had a wonderful time. I forgot why we were on the ferry, but you know what. I don't care because it was a beautiful site to see on the bow of the ship. Alex took this quite often to and from work which saved us not so much time, but a headache in traffic on daily basis.

This was taken at Lake Balboa in the Encino, CA area that people go to quite often on a nice fall or spring early evening. It is a man made Lake, but I absolutely love it because it gives people a chance to see some animals that you would normally not see in an Urban Environment like this particular part of the San Fernando Valley.

This was an amazing site for myself to see and hear. This Humpback Whale was doing something really neat during this trip. He did do what is called Breaching which is when they jump out of the water and splash back down in in the water multiple times, he also did what you see in this pictures. He would take his pectoral fin which would be what is your equivalent of your front arm, and slap it on the surface of the water. On top of that, he was singing and since he was so close to the surface you could hear his song so clearly. What a trip to remember for both of our lives.

This has to be my favorite picture that I took on our whale watching trip the weekend we were in Monterrey. I took some other amazing ones, but they don't compare to this one at all. I want to blow this picture up and hang it up somewhere in our place, I just don't where and I would put it.

GEN 6:2 The sons of God seeing the daughters of men, that they were fair, took themselves wives of all which they chose.
