Great Friends and More

What can I say about this picture. As you can tell Andy, Alejandro and
I are finally in a picture together after all these years. When I picked up Alejandro from the airport last Friday I knew it was right to feel the way I have been feeling about him. I wasn't nervous or anything. I just felt safe and happy to see him. The reunion with Andy didn't happen until Sunday evening, but they were such nut balls when they saw each other and all the nervousness that was coming up to that minute just was pushed aside once they saw each other. I am so lucky to have them both in my lives again and I know they are happy to be talking to each other again.
I had a great weekend with him and the friends and family that met him when he was here approved me going out with him and starting up again what we had 13 years ago. All I know is that it feels like we are just picking up where we left off back then. The only difference is that we are both adults and more feelings are coming out now then they did back then. My friend Mary told me that I am so happy when I am around him and just in general. Both Andy and Mary told him that they have never seen me this happy since they have known me and I know Mary means it because she wouldn't say something like that unless she did. Andy has been around me since Alejandro and split up 13 years ago and he told Alejandro flat out that this is the happiest he has ever seen me.
I did take him down to meet Dené and a couple of her friends and they really like her also. He also did meet Victor and he seems a little stand offish at first, but I think he is okay with it. I know he is probably saying dammit, it looks like she has really found someone that truely loves her. On top of it all, Joey (Dené and Victors little boy) loves him and I know that means a lot because he hardly speaks to any one he hardly knows. Joey and Alejandro were talking so much with each other especially after the fact that Alejandro told him he likes basketball.
The best thing is that I am going up to Washington next weekend to spend time with him. He offered to pay for my airplane ticket and I took him up on the offer. At first I thought no way because I would be only there for a day and a half. The more I thought about it and enjoyed our time together this past weekend, I realized that I better take him up on the offer.
Well I should finish this now. Until next time...

What A Shot and The Day Is Finally Here

I love this picture that Alejandro sent me shortly after we started talking again. I just can't believe how much power is in the water these days. The more I talk to him the more I want to be with him, which I guess is a good thing.

I think the best thing that I am going to say in this entry is that I finally am going to see him for the first time in 13 years tonight. He lands at Burbank Airport around 5:45pm tonight and I am going to pick him up. We are then going to a football game at NH were we met and take a walk down memory lane. He is the one that mentioned something about taking a walk down memory lane not me and the next thing I know is that we are going to the Home Opener of the football season of our former High School. We never did get to go to a game when we were dating so I guess late is better than never.
I think the best thing is that my parents seem to approve of us dating again. I know my sister told me that she is okay with it and that is because she told my mom the other night that since she never did here anything bad about him back then that it is okay with her. I know he has told his one sister that we are back together and she is just as excited as we are. I get the impression that his oldest sister Rocio really likes me and we have a lot in common so that will be a plus. We are hoping to go and see her at work tonight after the game if it isn't too late.
Well I should get going now. I am just waiting for a co-worker of mine to come back so I can go to lunch. Until next time when I have a picture of the two of us together to post...

What A Ship and A Person

This is a picture of the USS Abraham Lincoln that Alejandro is stationed on in Bremerton, WA. Before I reconnected with him I never thought I would say that grey and silver steel was pretty until now. I think what makes it pretty is the fact that it can do so much. It is an aircraft carrier and if you look very closely you can see the planes on it. Also it is just amazing all the stuff that is on it that a lot of people probably don't realize.
I thought I was going to have to wait until my birthday to see him, but he got a ticket to come down a week from Friday to visit me and see me for the first time in 13 years. I am a little nervous, but I just have to remember that I don't have to really impress him much because he already likes me for who I am and nothing more. Our communication is still very strong bewteen us and all I hope is that it stays that way. We have decided not to really say anything to our families until we know for sure if it is going to work out or not. We have had some heart to hearts over the phone during the weekend and I told him things that he even his ex-fiancé wouldn't even think about doing for him in regards to moving wherever he was stationed. Well I told him that once you marry someone in the service you are married to the service and in order to be happy I would have to go wherever he would be.
Well I should end this now. Until next time...
